Little weird shadow on my mesh

Hello. I have problem with one little, weird shadow. I already checked my smoothing groups and vertices in both hipoly and lowpoly mesh. Yet still I don’t know what’s wrong with this mesh. Can someone please help me ?

Thanks and Cheers !

@anonymous_user_fb796d6c: Light is set to movable and I can also see that shadow in Marmoset.

I could be wrong, but that looks like a flipped normal. Pull your .fbx back into the modelling program and make sure the normal is facing outward.

Nope, normals are fine

it’s not an artifact on any of the texture meshes? sometimes i’ve had stuff like that happen to my normal map.

It isn’t it. I checked it right away and everything seems to be ok.

@anonymous_user_fb796d6c: But I noticed that problem is only visible with my textures. If I place some normal material (shiny or not) problem is gone … But i checked my textures even with very huge zoom and they are fine in that place

did you check the R,G,B, A channels on them too?

Thank You ! You were right. On my normal map red channel has this weird shadow: http://i.imgur.com/fRvMwMy.jpg

Can I somehow repair it automatic ? By combining other channels or something like that ?

if you click on the red channel you could either use the spot heal brush, marquee the area and use content aware to fix it or use the clone stamp.

It’s working ! Thank You very much ! You helped me a lot

Cheers !
