Little help

Not “possibly”, and it wouldn’t even need to snap or attach to anything. It’s a matter of rigging up an “is powered” check. I had to do it for my fence mod, couldn’t get powered structures to place in gateways so needed to come up with a jerry-rigged power check so the gate couldn’t just be activated regardless of power status.

But, as I said, I can’t think of any reasons why you’d even want to do that. It ruins the immersion and realism, and you’d just be better off creating a custom generator that contains all of that within itself as far as I see it.

what i was saying and i guess its not clear just to confirm is have a generator that powers a outlet without cables and the reason i was asking about it was because i have tons of ppl asking me for this because they hate the way the cable system in ark is set up. I also do want to make this stackable

The other thing you will have to solve if you are trying to eliminate cables, is fixing the snap points for your custom outlet. Currently, it HAS to snap to a cable.

well i dont need it to snap to anything right now i took a outlet and disabled require power so all u do is go up to it and turn it on and off but i want it so when its in range of the generator (lets say 1000ft) its powered but i can get under the outlet where i can make it so it dosent need the wires to be powered

Also Jslay im having a issue when i admin spawn the items in my mod for some reason i can place the ones i spawn… dose anyone know why?
