Summary
The official Linux download page cannot be reached with a logged-in Epic account. The EULA acceptance succeeds, but the site redirects back to the EULA check instead of presenting the Linux precompiled archive. The issue reproduces in Chrome and Brave on Ubuntu 24.04.

Steps to Reproduce
- Sign in to an Epic account.
- Open https://www.unrealengine.com/linux.
- Select the Unreal Engine EULA agreement checkbox.
- Click Accept.
- Reopen https://www.unrealengine.com/linux.
Expected Result
The Linux page opens and offers the current precompiled archive, Linux_Unreal_Engine_5.8.2.zip, for download.
Observed Result
The site redirects to /eulacheck/unreal?state=%2Flinux again. The acceptance request returns HTTP 200 with {“accepted”:true}, but the subsequent acceptance check returns HTTP 500 with a missing_permission error for eulatracking READ. The generic Download button only downloads the Windows EpicInstaller .exe.

Reproduced on 2026-09-08 after signing out and in again, accepting the EULA again, using both English and Portuguese routes, and testing Chrome and Brave. No account IDs, cookies, or tokens are included in this report.
