linetracebychannel not working

I just want to cause damage to an enemy via linetracebychannel, but it isn’t working.

Followed the tutorial here: Unreal Engine 4 - Line Trace Applying Damage - YouTube

…I noticed someone in the comments said it doesn’t work for them either, that alot has changed in UE.

I have my linetrace coming out, see the red/green line, etc, all same as in video, but even simply printing to the screen nothing happens. Doesn’t work on 3 or 4 actors I’ve tried, including the simple cube as in the video I linked.

What is the current way to do this?
