Line Attractor does not work with Use Local Space

When I set my emitters that have line attractor modules in them, to “Use Local Space” they stop rotating and instead fly straight in the viewport. Does this mean I cannot use line attractors when I need the particle system to change direction using local space? If this cannot be done then how would I go about creating a spiral effect without attractors?

As a workaround I would suggest looking into vector fields but keep in mind those are for GPU particles.


I just bumped into this, and it’s very annoying.
