Got a real simple problem here, but one I don’t really know how to fix. There’s a light behind this wall here, and light is bleeding through around the edges. There’s no gaps between that wall and the walls on the sides, so I’m not sure what the problem is. Any help is appreciated!
What shadowing method are you using? Is lumen enabled?
This is the part where I realize how little I know about lights in this software, as I honestly don’t even know what that means or how to check
If you go to visualization viewmodes, and click on virtual shadow maps- shadow mask, does your scene become black and white?
The learning curve is extremely steep. UE5 is built on UE4 which came out back in 2014, so a decade of technical features means there’s a lot of way of doing stuff.
The reason I ask is bc differnt shadowing and GI methods have different problems, and a few could easily explain why your lights are visible.
