So, guys, I’m a programmer but I’m learning a bit of modeling so I can make my own projects. The thing is I’m having this issue with weird shadows at my meshes after I build the lights and I don’t know why.
All meshes are using the same material, bug getting this weird shadow and sometimes a different color tone. What am I doing wrong? How can I fix it? Haven’t found a thread that could help me with this.
The problem appeared on the corners ıs because of lightmap resolution maybe so you should check it first. And the tone difference is because of over modularity. In short UE4 calculates every lıght map on dıfferent threads so they dont know who is doing what and dont know where the seam is. You can’t get rid of it by increasing light map or lightmapss importance volume size, Last. be sure everything must be inside of lightmass importance volume.
