During the light building I get this error.
I tried to remove the Lightmass importance volume but then it asks me to insert it again.
I also tried to increase the dimension of the paging file but it won’t work anyway.
I get this error only in that specific map, my collaborators can build lights in that map correctly.
I don’t know what to do. do you have any ideas?
UE version is 5.1.1., it’s a VR project.
It seems that you’re running out of memory. Can you successfully build lighting on a different (less complex) map or is this an issue with simple levels such as in the VR Template?
I solved the problem,
The solution was to change the “overriden light map res” value in some of the actors on the scene.
I had few object with that value set to 4096, I set them to 128 and now it works fine.
I can’t explain why the message log didn’t mention that or why my collaborators could build lights anyway. That was the only change I made.
