Hi all,
I’m struggling with an issue concerning my direct shadows, they look horrible. Weeks before, I tried to install the Luoshuang’s GPULightmass and for hardware reasons decided to remove it (I don’t know if it’s related to my current issue but my gut after searching deeper and deeper in then engine is telling me that it could)
I tried:
- Project with and without distance field activated
- Various lightmap resolution
- Various build setting quality
- Uninstall and reinstall launcher + engine several times
- Other engine version (4.18) Actually I’m running all my projects on 4.19.2
- With Hdri sky and BP sky
- It affect directionnal light and ohter light (point/spot lights) Problem does not appear on dynamic shadows
- I also ensured to bring back my default lightmass.ini in the engine folder
Overall it just seems that my lightmass is just not working at all or is broken in some way. Does anyone already had this issue or could have a clue where/what to look for ?
