Lightmass artifacts

I have artifacts appearing on the walls and floor of my room geo when using lightmass. I have tried many different settings in the lightmass settings and world settings from other mentions of this but they don’t seem to budge. Compress is off and I have lots of samples in the world. Any help would be much appreciated.

Turn off first bounce ray guiding, alternatively you could try increasing the trial samples a little bit which might help.

Thanks I tried that and it didnt change but I added a bit of metallic to the material and that seemed to solve it weirdly
