I had watched about 3 youtube tutorials on how to fix this, but nothing works. And before anyone asks - yes, my lightmap coordinate index is set to 1. changing the lightmap resoultion doesn’t work either. Please help!
To double double check: You only need lightmaps if you’re using static lighting, otherwise just set your lights to moveable and don’t worry.
Having said that, if you’re happy that the UVs ( and hence lightmaps ) are good, you can ignore the warning. I’ve seen it many times on meshes that are fine.
If your UVs actually are overlapping in a bad way, you’ll see shadows that don’t make any sense after building light.
Hi, thank you for letting me know, unfortunately I am working with a modkit for a VR game, and to help performance it only allows static lighting. I can send the files so you can see what I mean if youd like.
Sure thing, you can PM me.
To cut the size down, you can just make an empty project and migrate a few of the meshes into that.
How do I PM?
