So i’ve been having some trouble figuring out how to solve this lightmap issues, i’ve tried increasing the lightmap resolution, tweaking around the uvs (even though these are mostly just plane uvs) and i can’t seem to solve it.
Looks like first and third image are shadows caused by the walls being one-sided with nothing blocking light from outside
For the second image, it’s probably this: A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements and Releases - Unreal Engine Forums
How would you go about solving the first issue? Do you have any suggestions? Im thinking about shelling, but its strange its only happening in that particular areas when the whole map is made of one sided pieces. Ive tried placing a couple of floor planes on top of the ceiling but didn’t solve the issue. Though i did rotate them 180º degree so they would face eachother…might want to do the opposite.
As for the second i still have to mess around with those parameters and see what i can come up with.
Thanks for the reply.
