Hey all, There is an object in my scene that’s giving me some lightmap issues. I’ve included a couple screenshots. It seems to me that the shadows being cast on the back of the chair by the support bar are for some reason showing up on the front of that same piece of geo as well. There are no overlapping UVs. I originally had Unreal generate lightmap UVs, but thought maybe making custom ones would solve the issue. I saw 0 change in the result after using a new UV set with completely different layout. I triple-checked the Lightmap UV Index number. It is set to the correct set.
I thought maybe because the seat backing is thin, that Unreal is maybe having a hard time recognizing the thickness when baking the map? I’m just spit-balling here. I don’t have too much experience trouble-shooting these issues, so any thoughts would be appreciated.
