Lightmap flickering between lo-res and hi-res

Hello!

I am having issues with built lightmaps flickering back and forth between very lo-res and hi-res (what they are set at). Is this a memory issue? Its a fairly heavy scene… but ive done heavy scenes before, and have not had this issue. Appears in editor, runtime and through cameras in matinee.

Any thoughts? I can post pics if needed.

Increase your streaming poolsize. Default epic setting value is 1000 (1gb of vram)

r.streamingpoolsize 4000 (for 4gb, for example)

Flickering might also be related to normal maps, in which case it can be resolved by importing the affected mesh, with compute normals ticked.

@heartlessphil - that seems to have worked! - Entered in in command in editor, and seems to be holding… Is there a place to edit an .ini file to make this the default?
