Lightmap and shadow

Hello guys,
i have a problem about the shadows. I tried to create one pillar in 3ds , use UV-MAP as a box and export, i tried to use a Shape_Cube and a Brush Box but the problem is still the same,

as you can see the shadow of the pillar projected on the floor is not continuous but is made up of these small squares. I do not think it’s a problem of lightmap because even with UE4 objects have the same problem , i tried to increase the lightmap resolution from 32 to 512 but it is always the same. Please help me.

Normally it is a lightmap problem:

  1. add a lightmass importance volume
  2. rebuild the light
  3. increase the lightmap resolution of the floor :slight_smile:

It’s the floor, the lightmap resolution of the floor is too low
