As you can see in the screenshot, it is a flashlight on the ground with a pointlight component. But on the ground, the light only shines in one direction. When the flashlight is picked up, it will be a spotlight and light will disappear if the player looks behind.
I think it’s the ground material. Because I can shine my flashlight onto everything else and it works just fine. The material is just a texture sample, RGB → Landscape Layer Blend → Base Color. And a “grass” Landscape Layer Sample → Grass node of Landscape Grass. (Sorry, I’m a new user and I can only have one image in this post)
