Started building a level a few months back.
Used ‘Blank Simulation’ as starting template. Initially I was building an exterior environment where SunSky illuminated everything, but when it came to building interiors, I can’t get anything to light up. No lights do anything. You can place the actor of a point light, but it doesn’t illuminate anything.
I went back and created a new project using the 1st person game template. In this template I can create lighting with no issue.
This leads me to believe it has something to do with the SunSky/GeoReferencingSystem that comes with ‘Blank Simulation’ template. On ‘1st Person Game’ Template it doesn’t have this, and instead has a folder called lighting which contains SkyLight SkyAtmosphere and DirectionalLight.
To avoid the hassle of migrating all my building to a 1st person game template level I’d love to know how I can “fix” the lighting issue that seems to be a feature of ‘Blank Simulation’ Template.
Any other workarounds also welcome, and ask me more if needs be coz I probably didn’t explain well enough
Thanks in advance for any help
