Lighting help

Hi,
I’m just learning more about UE lighting and was looking for some help and tips.
I have added some light sources (torche fire) in my dark scene, added reflection spheres and even a low intensity directional light.
But the scene is still very dark and barely can see the character.
What am I missing and what can I add to get better illumination from the fires?
Any help appreciated.

Make sure you adjust the Eye Exposure through the Viewport(in the Lit tab) or a Post-Process Volume. That will certainly brighten up the scene, but I think in your case it’s picking up the fires as being really bright, so it’s darkening everything. Personally, because UE4 doesn’t have any physically-based exposure controls, I prefer to work in a scene without any eye-exposure until I have lighting setup for the most part.

Thanks for the help. I added the post process volume as well as a lightmass importance vol and a low intensity spot light and the results are much better.
I didn’t change the exposure yet but will do it and see the results.
