Lighting and shadows in VR extremely washed compared to Editor view

Hi, I am quite new to UE5 and am trying to make a simple office environment that people can look around inside VR.

I have set all the lighting up and made a quick office space as shown in this first pic.

However as soon as I load up the VR view everything looks very washed out, and shadows are extremely faint if even present at all. Even the materials look different, and I have also tried adding some Emissive materials and they do not emit any light in VR, only the colour of the asset itself changes.

I am using Lumen here, although I have tried baked on another project and was getting similar issues. I have added a skylight, directional light, sky atmosphere, volumetric cloud and a postprocess volume.

Any advice on how I can get these two images to look the same? Thanks.

Lumen isn’t visible in your VR view. Why? Don’t know. Could be you’re on an older version of the engine or you’re using mobile VR.
