Light shafts mesh don't work over water

Dear dev community,

In the scene I’ve created, I have a mesh that’s being used as a beam of light, and it’s a translucent material. I also have toxic water through which I want to keep what lies beneath visible, and that’s a translucent material too. Perhaps two translucent materials aren’t compatible?

Yep, this is probably a sorting problem. Easy(ish) fix: make your water material into a SingleLayerWater and it will sort and light correctly.

Also, whatever you’re doing here looks super artistically interesting and fascinating. May I ask what it is?
