Hey guys,
im new to UE and about two days ago I started to have a strange issue I cannot solve. Out of nowhere stuff in my scenes would start to flicker like this:
When digging around I sort of pinpointed the origin of the flicker as far as basic lighting/shadow noise or something like that. When I
- make new blank film template with no RT
- disable lumen GI, lumen reflections, nanite, anti aliasing in project settings
- put random medium quality megascan into the scene
while using lighting only view I get this strange noise in shadows, which in turn makes nanites - used in other tests - constatnly redraw in scenes where they are used like shown here or shows flickering lumen overview like this.
Now when I do the same test on my secondary pc it doesnt flicker at all. It didnt flicker at all on my main pc two days ago. It jsut started while I was working on UE project, out of nowhere. Since then I tried all sorts of things including trying older UE version, swapping GPU, complete OS and UE reinstall and pulling extra memory modules I have installed some time ago. Nothing works. The flicker is just there.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause? Other than this my main pc works as it should be it blender, adobe or some gaming.
