light map errors

Ok so I’m new to unreal 4, but I know my way around a lightmap. However my shadows keep baking out at a really low resolution and I have no idea why. can anyone tell me what I’m missing. I’m trying to get a good shadow cast from the windows. What am I missing?
Infact it looks as if all my light maps are baking out at a much lower resolution than expected.


Engine Scalability shadows and textures are is set to epic.
Build lighting quality is set to production.
Realistically for this small room a 512 light map should be enough, but even 2048 comes out extremly blurry.

Hm, have you tried disabling the override setting and just using the settings in the static mesh editor?
