Light is penetrating objects issue!

Hi everyone, please does anyone can tell me why this happens? Im using UltraDynamicSky in UE5.2 where light system is basically the UE5 light, I hav few objects, the point light is behind the wall you see but lateral object (inside the building) are affected by external light, why?

many thanks

I’ve just checked: Lumen is normally on

This is because of lumen it is a commen issue
with lower quality meshes

i had the same problem i upgraded to heigher quality meshes and the problem was solved

Low quality?? £75 in Epic Store!

also I got the same issue using default cubes created by UnrealEngine, so I think the issue is something else

even improving engine settings to EPIC, same issue, does anyoe know please how to fix it?
Many thanks in advance

because there 75$ doesnt mean there high quality not even close

ok but the problem still persists even using hi detailed blocks, so how can I fix it please?

can you show some more screenshots?

and tell me what you changed if it comes to lighting settings and post postprocessing

Are shadows enabled on the light? scalability for shadows set high enough for the editor?

yes it is and scalability settings set to “Epic”.
I got a red error in the viewport: Missing vertex shader for PointLight.

Hi. I m beginner and I have the same question: why does light penetrate closed objects (inside box)? It works for any types of light. My goal is to get a complete darkness inside closed box despite any light sources outside the box.
