I have a stationary light, inside of the room where you can see the door, in this image . It seems it travels through the walls into the hall as shown in the image as well, how can I go about resolving this?

It looks like your mesh have a light map with low resolution and light build with low quality. Use this troubleshooter. I think it help you.
