Light and Shadow for an Alembic Object ? Need help

Hi,

What is the correct or best settings for an Alembic Object ?

I did this little animation of a “Curly Cube” but the light and shadows are really weird. How to fix this ? Need to export as FBX ? Need help please.

A strange thing that some faces don’t be affected by the light, what’s wrong ?

Anyone there ?

Hi Many,

You will have to enable the skin cache and functionality to recalculate tangents on the fly, you can find how to do this @ Alembic File Importer in Unreal Engine | Unreal Engine 5.1 Documentation under How normals are calculated
