Unreal Version 4.25 Preview 7
Has anyone been able to use raytracing with lidar point clouds ? I’m not able to get the point clouds to cast shadows or self shadow. It does however receive a shadow from a basic shape, like a cube. I’ve attached a screen grab of my simple setup.
A few things I’ve tried and double checked.
Cast Shadows ON
Color Adjustment - Gain - 0 0 0
Shadow Two Sided ON
Dynamic Shadow ON
I haven’t added any blueprints to the PointCloudComponent, not sure if its needed. Also noticed that when I select my point cloud data in the world outliner, its missing the Mobility attributes for Static / Stationary / Movable
Any suggestions ?
