License for selling game with assets from marketplace

Hi,

Im currently working on my frist indie game. If i buy a assets from marketplace that I will use in my game (ex a soldier uniform), will I meet any problems using it in my game, if I sell the game on steam or anyother platform?

All assets sold in the Marketplace fall under the Epic EULA as well as the UE Marketplace distribution agreement.

Just make sure the seller owns the rights to the asset heā€™s selling you. Otherwise, the true owner can still sue your gameā€¦ These are some of the know cases: link1 and link2.

Also recently I contacted the Marketplace creator of an asset I acquired from them and asked if I could have legal problems if I published a game with his asset. I asked the same question to Epic. Both replies didnā€™t state a clear ā€˜yesā€™ or ā€˜noā€™ā€¦
