About the Project

Alcyoneus is a turn-based sci-fi strategy game where players control powerful factions across a dynamic galactic map. Combining tactical unit management with strategic card-driven gameplay, the project aims to offer a fresh take on competitive, multiplayer-focused strategy experiences.

The vision blends large-scale space conflict with modular gameplay systems that allow for deep customization, asymmetric factions, and evolving tactical layers.

Current Progress
• Full project documentation and roadmap are complete.
• Design systems and game structure are locked in.
• Art direction, game flow, and core mechanics have been outlined and scoped for prototype delivery.
• Assets will be implemented using modular kits and custom components.

What I’m Looking For

I’m seeking a developer familiar with Unreal Engine (Blueprint or C++) to help implement the core systems needed to get the first playable prototype off the ground. This includes foundational systems like player interaction, map-based unit behavior, and early UI/card framework development.

This is a passion project with commercial aspirations — the right developer will be helping lay the groundwork for something ambitious and original, with room for future partnership.
