Level works fine in editor, but after packaging, crashes with fatal error

So, I’ve been working on a VR game for Vive and Oculus, and for some reason I have a map that works fine in editor, but once I package it, it crashes when loaded.

The window just says “Fatal Error”, but I have build logs and crash logs to share. I’m currently using the most recent version of unreal engine (4.22.2 as of writing). I’ve spent a few days trying to run this to ground, but with no luck, and I’m willing to share the project itself if that will help, to be honest I’m a little desperate right now.

I too am facing the same issue. What was the problem in your case? How did you fix it?

Sorry for such a delayed reply but I figured I could post a response anyway, it ended up being something to do with the directional light in the scene. I don’t know what exactly was happening, but I deleted the light and replaced it and everything ran fine after building.
