When I save my level it immediately tells me it needs to be saved again.
This can happen if you use the “Save All” button from the content browser.
For example, there is a level with 3 actors. I have made changes to two of these actors. So when I hit the “Save All” button, Unreal knows three things need to be saved. The level, and the two modified actors. If unreal saves the level first, then saves the actors, then the level will immediately need to be resaved because there are new changes to the modified actors which affect the level.
Its not a problem, just the way Unreal works. What you can do is enable “Save on compile”. This way when you compile the blueprint it will be saved, so when you then hit the “save all” button, there are no actors that need saving and the level will need to be saved once.
Hope this helps

Thanks I’ll give that a try. it was getting frustrating because any time it would autosave it would save the whole level and take a bit longer than if it didn’t have to save it every time.
You can customize the autosave feature or even disable it entirely. If you’re working on multiple things at once, maybe just increasing the autosave time might help you here.
I have needed to save my level multiple times, but it doesn’t really bother me. What does bother me is when you’re entering data in a field and it autosaves and then clears the field leaving you screaming profanities at the engine
