Please tell me where I can find free legal textures (or comercial) without any problems with licensing, so that I can safely use it on the marketplace. I am not in a position to create wood and stone in a procedural manner, I need photos of at least average quality and resolution. Thank you in advance.
There’s textures.com but you can’t distribute them as-is, they have to be modified and you have to add something in credits that you used textures from there, there’s info here: Textures for 3D, graphic design and Photoshop!
Of course I know about this site and used it.
The fact is that a few days ago I sent my asset pack to Marketplace, added a quote by your link, but my submission was rejected because the materials on this site are not allowed to be distributed on Marketplace. This was politely explained to me by mail.
I had to spend a few more days to replace the textures (although the result has become much better).
All of the info is listed there based on what you can distribute
If you need it just for demo purposes to show off the content you created, you can use any of the unreal content that alrsady exists.
Grab some of the example projects, like kite demo, soul cave, etc.
