Leg IK issue

Hello, I am trying to use the LegIK node. When trying it with the default third person character, I can get it to work - the foot follows the foot ik and the bones adjusts. So I want to see how it works with a longer chain, 3 or 4 bones.
So I make a bone chain in blender (novice in this area so I could be doing something wrong) and import it to UE and setup the nodes.
The result I am getting is that the bone chain almost always aim towards the IK, but ‘overshoot’, ignoring ‘bending’ the bones. Occasionally - as I drag the IK gizmo around - there’s a frame where the bone chain bends. I’ve tried fiddling with the settings, but no matter what I still see the same issue. What am I missing?
