Such a shame this thread trailed off… judging by the interest it was a very souht after topic. I myself would be very interested in creating even a basic prototype of a fighting game, 2 chars on screen, camera, and basic movement. Anyone out there with the technical know-how to shed some light on this subject?

Working on a book to answer all these questions and more. Expect it within the next few months
