Layering materials

I created a material in it I set the color parameter.

In this way I got two instances of the material. Black and white.

I tried to mix them by mask. But I didn’t succeed

Then I read this tutorial https://youtu.be/P2ahDcajDEg?si=2wKhlxZht97x0C-B
and redid the logic. I made a white Layer material and a black Layer material. Then I mixed them into a Blend material.

But then I needed to mix white with carbon.

And I realized that I can’t create a carbon based on Layer materials. Because although it has a clear coat slot, for some reason it doesn’t want to be a clear coat.

I created a normal carbon material based on a regular material, with clear coat. Which suits me completely.

Question: how to create a carbon part (crank on screenshot) with a white decal?
or in other words how do i mix carbon material isnance and white material instance?

SOLVED

Add ClearCoatBottomNormal to BLEND mat

Add ClearCoatBottomNormal to SetMaterailAttributes in Materal Layer
