I have a planet with lava on it and it looks good, but im trying to figure out how to make the emissive lava feel like its moving on the surface, ive tried panners on the emissive, and rotaters but I just cant get it to have that lava feel. Anyone have any ideas on how to better achieve this?

It has some lava materials there that can give you the information you need.

Look at the Feature tour 2014, I like the water there, you might be able to convert it in to lava by redoing it in the material editor.
