Summary

The item granter device does not grant the purple launch pad anymore

Steps to Reproduce

1 Place down an item granter, dont change any settings
2. Add the purple launch pad
3. Link a button device to the item granter: GrantItem
4. Publish the map
5. Play the published map and press the button, you do not get the launch pad

Expected Result

You get the launch pad

Observed Result

You do not get anything

Additional Notes

When you test the item granter, the launch pad is being granted when you launch session in UEFN. However, the launch pad is never being granted in published islands or when you play the private playtest.

I have the same issue now, found any solve ? all other items are granted except the launch pad

This is still an issue to this day.

More details about the issue:

  • This is the name of the launch pad : “TID_Floor_Player_Launch_Pad_UEFN”.
  • The launch pad only works in Edit Session. It does not work in Playtest nor in Published games.

FORT-840620 is ‘Closed’ as ‘Fixed’. The issue will be addressed in 37.00.
