Landscape with custom Heightmap crashes render cue in 5.3.2

Hello,

I am completely unable to render a scene with a custom real-world scale height-map landscape. I have tried everything I can think of to troubleshoot it, including starting from scratch in a completely clean empty project. Other scenes render fine, if I remove the height-map the scene renders fine.

I’ve tried multiple sizes of the height-map (40km square to 1KM square) and landscape including but not limited to 1024, 2048, 4033, 4096, 8129, 8160, 8192 and more. I’ve tried lowering the Z scale to see if that helps. I’ve tried using Brushify’s smartbrush add-on as a work around. Nothing works.

I’ve tried using different methods to generate the map from Satellite DEM data including TerraSculptor

I’m running a Thread-ripper Pro 64, with 128 gigs of ram, an RTX 6000 GPU (which has 48Gig’s Memory) so computing power is not the issue.

This is the error: Assertion failed: (NumBytes & (BytesPerElement - 1)) == 0 [File:D:\build++UE5\Sync\Engine\Source\Runtime\RenderCore\Private\UnifiedBuffer.cpp] [Line: 585]

Troubleshooting for over a week, nothing works, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Downloaded UE5.4 preview. The problem is not solved. Epic solve the problem urgently!!!

I also encountered the same problem, I also large terrain rendering will appear this problem, the hardware configuration and you are similar, so basically not a hardware problem
