I’m trying to do as the video below and doesn’t have the option on Material: Usage as Landscape!
I can not do the same thing that the video, where the guy depth the snow using deform snow material, using - Usage> Use as Landscape. Where can I found it? Its a bug? If not, sorry for posting in the wrong place.
Can you be a bit more specific in regards to the time frame in the video where you are referring?
I believe you are talking about the Usage within the material editor which can be found by opening the material you are working with, scrolling down in the details panel to Usage > Used with Landscape, and selecting the checkbox.
Did you install the engine from the launcher or from source (GitHub)?
You might want to re-install the editor as that option should be readily available in the default engine installation. Be sure you are pressing the dropdown arrow within the ‘Details’ tab.
So apologies for the confusion. I was testing on 4.12.5 when I provided the screenshot. I just ran another test in the preview 3 release and can confirm what you are reporting.
I have gone ahead and entered a report for this issue. You can track this by navigating to the issue on our public issues site via the link below.
As I mentioned, it is missing in the preview release so no matter how many times you re-install the option will not appear. However, this option should be readily available for use in the 4.12.5 version of the engine.
