Landscape Textures tiling is this normal?

Hello!

So I’am just beginning to start painting my landscape using the assets from the Kite Demo and i have watched a you tube to set up materials Found [HERE][1]

So here’s the problem (pictures shown)

My material setup (textures and UV’s)

Here are my landscape settings (not sure if important)

What is causing this?
How can i fix this ?
because i’am more than sure that the kite demo doesn’t do this.

I have also built the lighting upon taking the above photos, any help with this problem is greatly appreciated!

You should be able to change the Texture Coordinates to accomidate for larger tiles, it will essentially stretch out to a larger resolution. The tiling will still occur but will be slightly less noticable. You should look into the starter content materials as a good reference for the best solution. There is a slighlty advanced grass material with lerps and multiple nodes to “randomize” the tiling so it is less noticable.
