Landscape Painting Selection Issue

Summary

Whenever you paint in Landscape mode, the Proxy you’re currently painting on will end up being selected once you release your painting input. It’s rather annoying visually, though it doesn’t seem to effect anything else.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create or enter a new project.
  2. Enter Landscape mode, creating a new landscape if you don’t have one already.
  3. Select the paint toolset, and attempt to paint any layer.

Expected Result

Upon release of painting input, nothing should be selected, and your paint should remain there.

Observed Result

Upon release of painting input, the Proxy you’re currently painting will be selected, causing visual clutter.

Additional Notes

Not sure if this is due to the new editor settings from the recent update. Also not necessarily a priority issue, but definitely would be nice to remedy it.
