Landscape Material white from distance

Hey, I recently started trying to learn the basics of UE4. I made a landscape and applied a texture to it. It’s just a simple grass texture I got from the Internet.
Problem is, it appears white after a very short distance. Any ideas how to fix this?

at top left there is a option “Lit” change it to "Unlit " and see if its white again. if its not you have to edit your lighting settings .

It’s still white while in unlit mode.

if its a simple material and no depth fade is used and grass layer is filled i suspect mipmap generation because thats only thing left that is changeable by distance. may i suggest trying another texture with a size like 10241024 (or 512512 or 2024*2024)
