Landscape Grass dissapearing when painting landscape.

I have landscape grass layer and same layer without grass. I am painting with it and when i start to paint, landscape grasses are dissapearing in a certain tile. When i build it it comes back. I tried building it, compiling the material over and over again, restarted the project, i read a topic about it and tried to change landscape lod settings, tried to lower engine scalability and higher engine scalability. Tried to landscape texture"wrap" thing that i read on some topic. These are not the solutions. Does anybody have idea why is it happening?

You have to paint both layers on each component (or landacape rather) to initialize the layers.

The layers (definitions) have to be of the same kind, otherwise one will remove the other.

I change somethings in material and compile it, now it is works but still have problem. During the paint, all grasses are gone. When i stop painting, they are coming back.

Thats fairly normal (shouldnt go away, but it happens on slower PCs). Its performance driven behaviour.
So long as it recalculates at the end - and it works in PIe and final publish, you can work it.
Or, you need a beefier PC…

RTX 4080 GPU
Isn’t it enough? Which part i need to upgrade?

Wouldnt bother on working off any system without around 22GB of vram.

The rest is arguable.

Okay. So i need to upgrade gpu. Which gpu should i buy for working without problems? Which one are you using? I will buy it this week.

I bought MSI GEFORCE RTX5090 GAMING TRIO OC 34GB, same problem exist. I am going to crazy.

Must be somwthign on your material.
Easiest test you can do is to transfer the material to 4.27 probably with a copy/paste.
See if it does the same.

If not, its the engine. If yes, then you can share your material grass bits as screenshots here and maybe someone will be able to see something wrong…
