Landscape Blending Question: Lerp, Slope stuff

Hi I was working on blending some landscape textures together and am wondering how to improve some parts. Here’s a photo. What I am wondering how to do is;

A. Remove or better blend the upper portion of soil with my grass so its rather minimal

B. Increase the blend or make it thicker at the bottom of a slope

Eventually I’ll be trying to add some paintable layers to blenda bit further but not exactly sure how to do that yet. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

For a terrain like that, you can control the blending with a height mask.
Also it helps if you match the texture more.
And adding some unique rock meshes on top of the cliffs helps as well.

Thanks, I’ll look into height masks and vertex blending. I was trying to just grasp it with the extreme textures first and then blend further. Thanks for the reply.
