Lag Introduced after July 21st Hotfix

Summary

We recently got a report about our Prop Hunt being extra laggy then normal so I went ahead and checked the analytics devices of the game cause i track the server tps of a session and send out a signal every second about what the tps is. This is that graph, the blue line is when a game is at 30 tps (the max it can be and what it should be most of the time). But as you can see on July 21st that blue line shoots downward. The game has been very rubberbandy and laggy ever since. I pushed an update last on the 16th so it could not have been something I did. Epic did push a hotfix on the 21st, as far as I can tell it changed the spawn rates of the superman items and adjusted damage values of weapons/items in fortnite og. But I would bet that something else was pushed with it that day that went under the radar that has substantially caused performance issues for a sum of uefn games. I unfortunately got no proof other then that the game wasn’t lagging before the 21st and now it is and lagging very badly, We cannot figure out on our end the Why and would love some help from an engineer at Epic.

Cannot finds to reproduce, something is just causing the whole game to lag incredibly bad since the july 21st hotfix.

I had the same issue

My game handled moving large amounts of cubes every 0.2 seconds with MoveTo() fine and playtests/streams prove it yet somehow after the update it went so bad idk what they did but its like the 30 tps although it shows 30 its like alot less so it cnt handle basic things

FORT-950796’s status has changed to ‘Ready for QA’. A member of the QA department is investigating the issue.
