Summary

fort_character.EliminatedEvent() when eliminated if character uses right click on kinetic blade.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Subscribe to EliminatedEvent
  2. Use kinetic blade right click
  3. Get eliminated

Expected Result

Eliminated event will fire

Observed Result

Eliminated event does not fire

All 3 variants of kinetic blade are affected. This causes a lot of obscure bugs.

We tried some other events like damaged event and those seem to work fine still.

We also tried a bunch of other items that apply effects or displace you and it also seems to work fine.

This still isnt fixed, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. damagedevent() works tho as a warkaround. i find that sometimes it affects other weapons too later on.

Dude I can’t believe this is still a bug, our players were not getting death registered after 3 or 4 deaths couldn’t understand why

I still couldn’t verify it myself, but it is very likely that it’s an issue on our map from what have been reported

As an hint for any Epic dev, players do drop keys (which always drop on death) when dying, seems like a Verse issue
