jump pad to work with vrpawn

hi. i am trying to get a jump pad to work with vrpawn. for the blueprints i have tried using event actorbeginoverlap connected to cast to character connected to launch character which does not work with vrpawn. used some of the cast to pawn nodes but it does not connect to launch character. which cast to would i need for vrpawn and what physics node would i use instead of launch character? thanks
