Summary
On maps with a small amount of play when a player joins an active game instance there are some issues:
-countdown timers that have completed and that are set to ‘Stop’ as ‘Completion Behavior’ will show the reset/start time not 00:00.
-timers that are actively counting down will show the start time (not counting down) for anywhere from 15 seconds to a minute before they start showing the countdown after rejoining.
-a timer that is supposed to show the countdown on the HUD does not show it for the same 15 to 60 seconds after joining and active game.
-but the biggest issue for me. In my game I have a vault where I am using a cinematic sequence device with a level sequence transform animation to open the vault door. The ‘When Finished’ setting is ‘Keep State’. When a player joins after the vault has opened the door will show as closed to them. Existing players from the game start show it as opened. The joined player can walk through the “closed” door as if it was not there. The existing player has no issue.
Steps to Reproduce
Join an existing game instance of a map that has countdown timers and a level sequence transform animation. This issue can be seen on any versions of my island.
Expected Result
Timers should work properly and not do what I described in the summary.
