John Wick (Keanu Reeves) metahuman in UE5 Path Tracer

Hello everyone! Here is my last project of the year :slight_smile:
Meet my version of John Wick metahuman.

PROCESS:
I’m testing an awesome 8k skin texture from 3D Scan Store to enhance realism.

Also, I added some blood to the texture from Production Crate and then I did the normal map for that.

Animation was rendered using path tracer 1024 samples.
Render time: 20h 41min.
Powered by NVIDIA RTX 3090 + Studio driver.

The original Keanu Reeves was modeled by George Siskas and then I converted to a metahuman using #MeshToMetahuman plugin.
And for facial mocap, I used TrueDepth camera from an iPhone + #MetahumanAnimator

For the background I used a HDRI from Nick Scarcella (Manhattan Nights Vol. 1).

AI voice was used, combining “text-to-speech” with “speech-to-speech” and then I edited the audio, so it looks less robotic.

I have to say, I definitely wouldn’t mess with that mans dog. Jokes aside, this looks great! The lighting, intricate details, and replication of Mr. Reeves was all executed wonderfully. Brilliantly done :slight_smile:
