Jagged Shadow Terminators With VSM

I’ve tried to find solutions to this but I’m not getting any results. None of the light settings change anything, ray traced shadows are RTX only so that’s off the table.

I’m admittedly pretty lost here. The problem occurs when the object casting the shadow is very close to the shadow itself. The second image demonstrates this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For directional lights try lowing r.Shadow.Virtual.ResolutionLodBiasDirectional -1 to -3

I’ve tired that a few times now actually but it doesn’t do anything on my end. I’ve wondered if I’m inputting the command wrong but every permutation makes no difference.
r.Shadow.Virtual.ResolutionLodBiasDirectional -3
r.Shadow.Virtual.ResolutionLodBiasDirectional = -3
r.Shadow.Virtual.ResolutionLodBiasDirectional = “-3”

Are all things I’ve tried for example
