Summary

The addition of season tags for every single season is a great addition. However, there are some errors within these tags, this includes:

• Assault Rifle missing Pre-Season (was added in 1.6)
• Common, uncommon, and rare Semi-Auto Pistol has Flipped instead of Pre-Season (was added in 1.6)
• Common, uncommon, and rare Tactical Shotgun missing Pre-Season (was added in 1.6)
• Rare, epic, and legendary Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle missing Pre-Season (was added in 1.6)
• Uncommon and Rare Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle missing Pre-Season (was added in 1.6)
• Rare, epic, and legendary Grenade Launcher missing Pre-Season (was added in 1.6)
• Rare, epic, and legendary Rocket Launcher missing Pre-Season (was added in 1.6)
• Uncommon and rare Scoped Assault Rifle missing Pre-Season (was added in 1.6.3)
• Uncommon, rare, and epic Tactical Submachine Gun missing Pre-Season (was added in 1.6.3)

• Common, uncommon, and rare Suppressed Submachine Gun missing Ch1S1 (was added in 1.9)
• Trap version of the Legacy Launch Pad missing Ch1S1 (was added in 1.9)

• Rare and Epic Semi-Auto Suppressed Pistol has the Flipped tag instead of the Ch1S2 tag (was added in 1.11/Season 2’s launch update)
• Damage Trap missing Ch1S2 (was added in 1.11/Season 2’s launch update)
• Rare, epic, and legendary Snowball Launcher missing Ch1S2 (was added in 1.11/Season 2’s launch update)
• Cupid’s Crossbow has Ch1S7 instead of Ch1S2 (was added in 2.4.2)

• Crossbow has Ch1S2 instead of Ch1S3 (was added in 3.0)

• Chiller Trap missing Ch1S6 (was added in 6.01)
• Mounted Turret missing Ch1S6 (was added in 6.30)

• Epic and legendary Tactical Shotgun missing Ch1S9 (was added in 9.40)
• Birthday Present has Paradise instead of Ch1S9 (was added in 9.41)

• Legendary Tactical Submachine Gun missing Ch1SX (was added in 10.40)

• Common Pump Shotgun has Ch1SX instead of Ch2S1 (was added in 11.00)
• Epic and legendary Semi-Auto Pistol has Ch1SX instead of Ch2S1 (was added in 11.00)
• Epic and legendary Submachine Gun missing Ch2S1 (was added in 11.00)
• Common and uncommon Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle missing Ch2S1 (was added in 11.00)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Select the tag that the item should have.
  2. See that the item does not appear.

Expected Result

All items have their correct season tags and can be looked up easily.

Observed Result

Not all items have their correct season tags and some items are more difficult to look up.

PS5, PC, Xbox One, Switch

Additional Notes

Crossbows follow the design of when they were added, and Cupid’s Crossbow’s design was added in 2.4.2. This is the same as the Egg Launcher.

Wouldn’t make more sense to have weapons that were reworked in C2 like the Assault Rifle or the Pump shotgun with the C2T1 tag and have for example the common and uncommon versions of the OG version of the Pump with the C1T1 tag (or the Pre-Season tag, failing that?

While I agree with making the updated ones Ch2S1 and adding the OG ones and making them the Ch1 ones, this bug report is mainly following what the Creative/UEFN team did with the tags.

Yeah, I have to agree. While it would give items like OG weapons and some item rarities like epic slurp juice some sense, I think I understand why the team gave them that tags.

I’m making a list with some item tags you might have missed, mind if I reply it here so it gets fixed as well?
